The 2008 election cycle will be historic for many reasons, both postive and...well, not so positive. The media bias in favor of Barack Obama, not just in his battle against Republican John McCain, but even against Democratic contender Hillary Clinton in the primaries.
This bias became so obvious, even those on the left within the media began to voice their discomfort over the lack of journalistic integrity.
Many conservative and independent talk show hosts predicted that we would start to find out more about Barack Obama's past after the election. It hasn't been a week since Obama was elected before one of the largest, and left leaning, newspapers have had a writer come out and admit to this obvious observation.
Washington Post writer Deborah Howell writes...
"...readers have been consistently critical of the lack of probing issues coverage and what they saw as a tilt toward Democrat Barack Obama. My surveys, which ended on Election Day, show that they are right on both counts."
