Bette Midler: Fascist, elitist, idiot. "People who are not educated in any way, are just a little on the barbaric side"

Bette Midler is a perfect example of an ignorant idiot. When we ask ourselves how citizens would allow a government to take away freedoms such as speech, we can look at the words of people like Midler for answers. She feels that speech that doesn't fall into her point of view, or exposes her buddies in Washington, should be deemed hateful, and unworthy of being free.

I use Bette Midler as an example because of what she said on the CNN Headline News "Joy Behar Show" this week; she is speaking about Glenn Beck: (my commentary will be in red letters)

Midler: I find him terrifying. He's like an old school demagogue and it's really frightening. (Alinsky's Rules for Radicals #5: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It’s hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.)

Midler: If you look around at the rest of the world and what kind of behavior has done in Rwanda where the demagogues got on the radio and fermented all that hate between the Tootsies and the Hutus and the devastation that happened from that. I mean, it's terrifying. (Now she is just being ridiculous- even insane)

Joy BEHAR: Well, we have free speech here and everything he says we can say something else.

MIDLER: I don't think hate speech should be so free. I'm not for censorship but I also feel like you are a human being. (This is dangerous territory that Midler is entering. For one, she is absolutely mis-representing Beck by saying he is taking part in hate speech. But in her world, disagreeing with her world view is hate speech; disagreeing with a black president is hate speech. If "hate speech" was illegal, whose to say that one day Bette Midler could be silenced for hate speech for having liberal views- hate speech in the year 2009 has taken on a new definition to liberals: not being in agreement with Barack Obama.)

BEHAR: I mean, but you can't stop people from hate speech because they have the right to say it. It's the First Amendment.

MIDLER: I think the people who are educated to be civil are civil. That's all there is to it. People who are not educated in any way, are just a little on the barbaric side, what can you do? But that's the fault of the education system. (Left wing elitism in its purest form. If you are not "educated" you shouldn't have the right to free speech- you are barbaric. She sounds like Barbara Boxer talking to an African American who doesn't hold left-wing views)

As bothersome as it is to hear an American say that speech should be limited, I am glad that Bette Midler and her views on speech have been exposed. Because let's face it, her views are shared by most of the left, Nancy Pelosi, Jimmy Carter, and gang. They continue to re-define any speech that exposes the left as "hate speech". And in their eyes, if it wasn't for that darn Constitution, they would have the entire radio waves shut down and run by MSNBC.

Because of fascist elitists like Bette Midler, there are political prisoners in Cuba, radio stations being shut down by Chavez, and at one time a wall built dividing Germany. The Midlers of history thought Mussolini was just fine and dandy. But the truth always will reign supreme. And unfortunately, for people like Bette Midler, they will be the last ones to realize they have been propagating a big lie.

Czech President: U.N. Climate meeting "a propagandistic exercise"

There isn't much common sense these days- particularly when it comes to politicians. But at least one president is speaking with common sense and truth, rather then stepping in line to add to the embarrassing global warming rant.

Czech Republic president Vaclav Klaus spoke out against the United Nations meeting on climate change on Tuesday. Klaus said, "It's a propagandistic exercise where 13-year-old girls from some far-away country perform a pre-rehearsed poem...It was sad and it was frustrating...The train can't be stopped and I consider that a huge mistake".

So while Communist dictator Fidel Castro spoke highly of President Obama for speaking at the meeting saying, even calling him "brave", the real "brave" leader was Czech president Klaus, for he was one of the few who refused to get in line with the rest of the propaganda slingers.

There is nothing brave about giving into your enemies. There is nothing brave about saying what is popular, even if the science doesn't back it up. Bravery is speaking the truth, even when everyone is calling you a "denier".

So we applaud you President Klaus. Thank you for standing on the firm ground called truth.

If there is anything remotely good that has come out of ACORN's existance lately, it is the fact that they have created some great material for comedians. 

I'll admit, usually Jon Stewart annoys me, but this bit on ACORN is good...no, it's great. The thing is, Stewart really sends a message to the mainstream media- loud and clear. Enjoy this one...

Graffiti artist Shepard Fairey gets tagged...poetic justice?

In a "what goes around comes around" scenario, artist Shepard Fairey's studio building got a taste of his own medicine. I can't help but smile- and I'm sure there's a part of Mr. Fairey that is quietly impressed. 

For those who don't know, Shepard Fairey, the Barack Obama "Hope" poster creater, spent much of the 1990s as a graffiti artist "decorating" public and private buildings, bridges, and roadways at the expense of taxpayers. Fairey's graffiti was in the same vain as the style his own studio was tagged. 

This type of political graffiti has been coming from the left for decades and the vandals were always referred to as "artists" by those in the liberal media. Some of these artists even were looked at as heroes.

 There was even  a picture of George W. Bush with gun crosshairs over his face plastered in cities. Not only was this not given much, if any, media attention, there didn't seem to be concern about the seriousness of such images on our public streets. Today that would be reason for a FBI investigation.

 But now that the tables are turned, the media has seemed to have lost their sense of humor for such acts. I wonder why? (sarcasm)

Pathetic Pelosi in denial about ACORN

Nancy Pelosi is pathetic. 

When the New York Post asked to comment on the amendment to defund ACORN, Nancy Pelosi (the Speaker of the House!) said, "I don't even know what they passed... What did they do? They defunded it?"

This shows one of two things:

1.  Nancy Pelosi is extremely out of touch with what is happening in our country- and in Washington. (This is probably true)

 or

2. Nancy Pelosi is in denial- either purposely or ignorantly. By acknowledging the ACORN corruption, she would have to acknowledge her own part in that corruption. 

or

3. Both.

I think that both apply. Pelosi is out of touch with the American people. There really isn't any other way to put it. It is outrageous that an organization that has been paid billions (!!) of dollars of taxpayer money can be defunded without major mainstream media attention, as well as a major criminal investigation. 

It is obvious that those media outlets, most of them, are purposely acting ignorant of what is happening with ACORN. The fact that the Speaker of the House, like so many others, are so laissez-faire shows that they are avoiding the reality of the situation. Let's face it, ACORN is Obama, and Obama is ACORN. The proverbial roots of ACORN run deep into the left-wing of our government and now the green "lifeblood", that is cash, has been cut off. 

The question is, will the tree die, or have other trees been planted in the garden? I think I know the answer to that one...

Jimmy Carter...Shame on you.

Jimmy Carter said, "I think an overwhelming portion of the intensely demonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man, that he's African American".

It is interesting how all these leftwingers are using the good old race card to demonize anyone who is critical of the president. I've got news for you all, we are critical of President Obama for the same reason we were critical of Jimmy Carter, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and the rest of the goons.

Jimmy Carter, any respect that I had for you is laying in garbage can with yesterday's trash...do us a favor and stick to building houses (or whatever it is you do in your spare time...when your not race baiting).

Press accuracy hits two decade low...I wonder why?

The independent Pew Research Center released a not-so-surprising survey.

"Just 29% of Americans say that news organizations generally get the facts straight, while 63% say that news stories are often inaccurate." (9/13/2009, Pew Research)

Only 29% if those surveyed had favorable views of the New York Times. Even the Democrats find the Times unfavorable at 39%...and the scary thing is, this is were the big news networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) get their news from...everything makes sense now!

Gateway Pundit makes an excellent observation about the cleanliness of the 9/12 marchers compared to their liberal counterparts.

The trash left behind at the Obama innauguration made it evident that Obama supporters just assume the government will clean things up for them...and they did in that case. Some of them even rolled around it their trash...but what do you expect!?

The 9/12 marchers seem to be more "green", but they don't use it to elevate themselves...go figure.

Obama speech interrupted- "You lie!"...Flashback: Bush booed by Democrats

The media reaction to two words during Obama's health-care speech last night say more about the state of our media and politics then Obama's actual speech.

During Barack Obama's health-care speech the words "You lie!" were heard. It was the voice of South Carolina Rep. Joe Wilson (R). How dare anyone speak while the King is on stage! This isn't George W. Bush anymore, this is the messianic Obama- things are different now- the rules have changed. The rules have indeed changed.

After the speech, the mainstream media spoke about the outburst as "unprecedented", and even compared it outbreaks seen in the British Parliament. You could cut the disgust in their voices with a butter knife.

On Good Morning America Joe Biden said the indident made him "embarrassed for the chamber and a Congress I love."

The media either have a selective memory or are purposely not reporting truthfully. It was only a few years back when George W. Bush was giving the State of the Union address and not just one guy spoke out, but the entire Democrat side of Congress booed the President (VIDEO HERE). The media then didn't write articles about how rude the democrats were, but rather that the Democrats were passionately in disagreement. The rules have changed.

And then there was Harry Reid. Speaking to a group of high schoolers, he spoke about then President Bush by saying, "I think this guy is a loser."

The media never fails to live up to their reputation as being biased, Obama loving, and conservative demonizing. They continue to prove our point each and every day.

Van Jones out! One down, too many to go...

Barack Obama and his cronies got a little too comfortable when they began placing admitted communists in high positions- positions that We, the People didn't vote for. The media wants to make Van Jones stepping down from his Czar position about the G.O.P., but the G.O.P. have said very little about Van Jones.

The media want to make this about a few comments about Republicans...or even about Van Jones being a "9/11 Truther".

But we all know what this is really about...Van Jones was and still is a communist radical.

Mr. President, I suggest you rethink your plans...this is only the beginning.

And can I get a hip, hip, hooray to Glenn Beck for being one of the only people in the news industry who is doing their job...Beck makes the rest of you look like a bunch of "Teen Beat" writer hacks...
