5 Myths About the Bush Record Liberals Wanted you to Believe

While the New York Times, Huffington Post, and the "Obamanation" have been telling Americans that President George W. Bush has been a tragedy, the reality and facts show something quite the opposite.

Ed Gillespie over at Real Clear Politics has a story that may surprise not only liberals and Democrats, but even some Republicans. When the facts are put up on stage and looked at honestly, George W. has been a pretty successful President considering what he has had to work with; and he could have been even more successful had Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and their goon squad had listened to Mr. Bush. As I always say...go figure.

This article is a must read.

Congress gets pay raise

Now I don't have a problem with anybody who works for a living receiving a yearly raise; that's what hard work is about right?

But I do have an issue when the people receiving a raise- Congress- are filled with people, particularly on the left, who expect those in the corporate world to give up their raises.

“As lawmakers make a big show of forcing auto executives to accept just $1 a year in salary, they are quietly raiding the vault for their own personal gain,” said Daniel O’Connell, chairman of The Senior Citizens League (TSCL), a non-partisan group.

Barrak's middle name is now hip...

Before the election day 2008, anyone who included Barack Obama's middle name, Hussein, would be hissed at by Democrats, leftwingers, and most of the media. Apparently there was a memo given out, that conservatives didn't get that banned the public from using Mr. Obama's full name.

Now that Barack Obama is elected to be the next president, he plans on showing off his middle name like its a brand new pair of shoes. If I were Muslim I might be a bit offended by Obama and his loyal followers and protectors who got their panties all up in a bunch every time someone, God forbid, used his middle name.

From a Muslim point of view, it would seem that Barack Obama was ashamed of the name Hussein. By the left's reaction to using Barack's middle name, Hussein, one would think that that name was a curse word. But not anymore.

(Yahoo News- "President-elect Barack Obama says he will try to "reboot America's image" among the world's Muslims and will follow tradition by using his entire name — Barack Hussein Obama — in his swearing-in ceremony."

So Barack Obama believes that by using his Muslim given middle name, he will somehow bring Muslims, Jews, and Christians together? The people he is trying to impress would like to see the destruction of Israel, and the western world as a whole. These Islamofascists hate America, not because Obama hasn't been using his middle name (if it was only so simple).

The people Obama is trying to impress hate America because we allow woman equal rights, allow gay people to live (and not hang them in the square), allow free speech, free press, and allow Christians, Jews, and Muslims to worship freely in the same country. Until America is wiped off the map, along with Isreal, these Muslims Obama is trying to impress will never view our country with respect.

Obama Snubs Black Media...

African-American newspapers and media outlets are beginning to get the big picture- Democrats (Barack Obama included) use and exploit African-American issues to get the black vote (something the National Black Republican Association has known for a long time).

(
Black Agenda Report, Issue for Dec 10 - Dec 16, 2008)
"Black publishers say they have been locked out of Obama's advertising game plan - and even shunned in their attempts to cover the Obama operation. The Illinois Senator's handlers - and maybe the man himself - "think that we as black people are so anxious to get a black president that we'll support him no matter what," said one editor. "So why waste money on us?"

Further Proof - The World Craves Freedom

Immigration to the US, 1820-2007 v2 from Ian S on Vimeo.
The above animation is an amazing visual display of how the world truly craves freedom; a specific brand of freedom that only the United States of America has offered. The numbers speak for themselves...

During the past several years we heard liberals, most Democrats, say that the rest of the world didn't have a favorable view of the United States- that we were bullies, etc. Of course no other country in the world has given so much of itself, risked life and limb, to help bring aid, safety, and freedom to those in need in the world. When a country country has come to the U.S. asking for help- we're there.

The United States on 9-11-01 comes under attack, what was the result? The Taliban loses its heavy grip on Afghanistan- they have elections in fact. Iraq, and the world, has one of the most viscous dictators taken off the map, and off the earth- though this didn't have as much to do with 9/11 as much as years of Saddam Hussein "playing" the weapons inspectors. But was there atrocities such as genocide? Yes. How could we look the other way for another 8 years? We didn't. Now when U.S. soldiers walk through the streets of Baghdad, as well as many other towns, they are not greeted as a threat, but as friends, as saviors. But Democrats would not want us to know that- that would not have helped the "holy one" Barack Obama become elected.

A fact that falls by the wayside for many, George W. Bush has done more to help Africa with A.I.D.S. epidemic than any other U.S. President- a fact that even Barack Obama admits. The much despised George W. Bush in his own country is considered a hero in many African nations. Go figure.

So what is the point of this whole article? No other country in the world has such an "immigration issue" as does the U.S. People risk their lives to have an opportunity to step on American soil, to experience real freedom. People are not building rafts made of sticks to ride through the dangerous shark infested waters of the carribean to make it to the shores of Cuba or Haiti. People don't risk their lives, enduring suffocation, while they ride in a trunk, or cargo, hoping to be "shipped" into the U.S. making it past Customs.

Many other countries, in Europe for example, don't have the opportunities that immigrants have in the U.S. But watching the NBC, CNN, or CBS nightly news, one would think that the United States is a horrible place- mean spirited, hateful toward anything that isn't American. Yet, more and more people, by the thousands, still risk lives to be American. It all comes down to one word- FREEDOM. The world craves freedom.

The E.P.A. and their "Fart Tax"

A story that could be in a Saturday Night Live skit, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed a fee for farmers who have cows, hogs, due to their flatulence. In other words a "Fart Tax".

In the United States, we recycle our cans, bottles, paper, cardboard boxes; we even recycle items that are recycled. The U.S. is more environmentally friendly then most nations in the world. Barack Obama thinks we should be more like China, but based on their deplorable air pollution, the EPA should have scolded Obama for making such a comment. America is cleaner then it ever has been since the industrial revolution- but the EPA and their "green" obsessed army will never be satisfied until we are passing gas into jars and taking them to "fart depositories".

Here is what the EPA has proposed:

Farms or ranches with 25 dairy cows, 50 beef cattle or 200 hogswould pay an annual fee:
  • $175 for each dairy cow
  • $87.50 per head of beef cattle
  • $20 for each hog.
Based on the above numbers, a farm with 25 cows, 50 beef cattle and 200 hogs would have to pay $12,750. I grew up in a farming community, and having 25 dairy cows is not considered a large farm. For the farms that have hundreds of cows, cattle, or hogs, jobs will be lost to make up for this cost.

But this is the type of "Change" the Obama Nation have been talking about. When their Mocha Latte cost them a few dollars more at Starbucks the liberal elitists can thank their wonderful EPA and their wonderful "Fart Tax".

The Russians are coming! The Russians are coming!

For the first time since WWII, the Russian navy announced that it would be sailing the warship destroyer, Admiral Chabanenko, through the Panama Canal this week. The Russians announced Wednesday that they would be pushing ahead with this symbolic "projection of Moscow's power in a traditional U.S. zone of influence".

And now we have a President Elect, Barack Obama, who said he was going to cut our defense spending...while the other guys are amping up theirs...God help us. Here's exactly what Obama said...

"I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems.

I will not weaponize space. I will slow our development of future combat systems.

And I will institute an independent defense priorities board to ensure that the Quadrennial Defense Review is not used to justify unnecessary spending.

Third, I will set a goal of a world without nuclear weapons. To seek that goal, I will not develop new nuclear weapons, I will seek a ban on the production of fissile material,

and I will negotiate with Russia to take our ICBM's off hair-trigger alert and to achieve deep cuts in our nuclear arsenal"

Gay is the new Bigot

I would love to see these people hold up these signs in front of an African American church rather then wimping out and protesting in front of Mormon and predominantly white churches that they know will not fight back...They say that "Gay is the new black", but lately it seems that "Gay is the new BIGOT"!

Depression? Not even close...

Smiling faces, waiting to spend money on "Black Friday"

During the 2008 Presidential campaign words like recession and depression were thrown around, and used to get an emotional response out of voters. Before the election Barack Obama even compared the present situation to the Great Depression saying, "There are some similarities, though, to what happened back in the late 20s and early 30s and what's been happening now, and the biggest similarity is how we've been dealing with Wall Street and what's happening in the financial markets."(5/14/08, Reuters)

Barack Obama even displayed several families on his one hour media buyout special. These families were supposodly hit hard in these times, though a few of them seemed to be eating rather well- no sarcasm intended. During the election I took note of the packed shopping center parking lots, lines of people purchasing the newest iPhones, Wii game station, or big screen tvs. These were not rich people, but middle income and even, dare I say, low income families.

During the Great Depression families of five, six, and more, lived in small one bedroom apartments- and that was living high. People waited in lines for half a day or more just to get a loaf of bread and some milk. Cardboard box "towns" called hoovervilles were a common site in cities across the nation.

But on the biggest shopping day of the year, Black Friday as they call it, most people were not spending the day waiting in line for a loaf of bread, but rushing, literally, like herds of cattle, into shopping centers across the country- to spend money on so-called basic needs such as Nintendo games, HDTVs, cell phones, dvds, and everything in between. Are we even close to a depression? Not even in the same galaxy...
