Liberal Thuggery in San Francisco?

We have witnessed a pattern of rude, mean spirited, and out right distasteful behavior this past election cycle. From the Sarah Palin hating celebrities making statements like comedian Sandra Bernhard saying that the Republican V.P. nominee would be "gang-raped by my big black brothers" if she enters Manhattan. There has been several John McCain offices that have been vandalized in Pittsburgh, South Carolina, and one office had its volunteers maced by Obama supporters- in the office! Obama did tell his supporters, "I want you to argue with them and get in their face". It appears they are doing that and more.

We can tell a lot about people by the way they treat their own family members. In San Francisco, anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan is running against Nancy Pelosi for her congressional position. Sheehan has been a long time critic of Pelosi and her position on the war (I guess she wasn't against the war enough?). People like Nancy Pelosi are not used to having people protest against them because usually they have the protestors on their side. But Sheehan and her gang of protesters were a real thorn in Pelosi's side. Now Sheehan is running for her job! Apparently there are some people who are not too happy about this because Cindy Sheehan has been the victim of some "intimidation" tactics, the most recent was this past week, October 30, 2008. All the front windows of her campaign office were broken out and a computer was stolen.

Sheehan's campaign manager, Tiffany Burns says, "Each time we confront her (Pelosi), each time we ask her for a debate, each time we gain ground in the polls, something horrible happens," said Burns. "Once or twice might be a coincidence, but such a consistent correlation is hard to ignore."
