Mayor Daley connects Fort Hood attack on America's love of guns!?

There are some people that just don't deserve to be given microphone time. Some of these people are just laughable buffoons. But others are willfully ignorant, hypocritical, corrupt, power-hungry, and in the end- dangerous. Enter Chicago Mayor Daley.

Mayor Daley is one of those poster boys for corrupt politician.

On Monday, speaking about the terrorist attack (I call it like I see it), Daley tried to politicize the deaths of these people by saying, “Unfortunately, America loves Guns. We love guns to a point where that uh we see devastation on a daily basis. You don’t blame a group.”

Only an ignorant person, flushing any amount of common sense down the toilet would buy into this b.s.

The sick irony here is that because the soldiers at Fort Hood are banned from carrying weapons on base, it took a local police officer to intervene- only after 13 people had been killed and many more wounded. Thank God for the bravery of the police officers who intervened.

If anything, this is a textbook case for why we need to allow citizens, and especially soldiers to have the right to carry. The "bad guys" don't follow the rules. No amount of gun bans or restrictions would have stopped this from happening. But if only a 1/3 of the soldiers at Fort Hood would have been armed, some people might be alive today.

What Mayor Daley doesn't want to talk about is that his city, which has had some of the strictist gun laws and bans, has some of the most violent crimes and highest murder rates. The killers ignore the laws like they always do. The law abiding citizens are left defenseless.

And Mayor Daley? He continues to be protected by armed security, 24/7.

Shame on you Mayor Daley.
