N. Korea missille- U.S. Not Prepared to respond!?

North Korea is about to break international law in the next 10 days by firing a missile they say is designed to carry a satellite into space. The problem is, North Korea has been ignoring 6-party talks aimed at curbing Pyongkang's nuclear ambitions. And Iranian missile experts are going to be right there with N. Korea to help with the launch. (Story)

Defense Secretary Robert Gates said on Sunday, "I would say we're not prepared to do anything about it."

It has been said by officials that this missile could have the potential to reach as far as Hawaii. The answer given by Gates should not make Americans, particularly those living in Hawaii feel comfortable.

"I think if we had an aberrant missile, one that was headed for Hawaii, that looked like it was headed for Hawaii or something like that, we might consider it," Gates said. "But I don't think we have any plans to do anything like that at this point."

But remember, Obama promised that he would scale back expensive missile defense systems. A wasteful "stimulus" bill is something he feels is more important to this country. That missile defense system is looking really nice right about now...

Civil Rights Activist on Hunger Strike in Cuba- dying...media ignores.

When the anti-war "embarassement of a soldier's mom" Cindy Sheehan would show up somewhere to hold a cardboard sign the mainstream media would show up- in a caravan, camping out at the site cameras waiting to capture every moment.

When Cindy Sheehan went to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to protest the imprisoned terrorists and terrorists suspects, the media was there. And while Cindy Sheehan and her circus were protesting the imprisonment of terrorists/killers, there were innocent Cubans being imprisoned, and killed, for not bowing down to Castro's regime. It is truly amazing how those who call themselves "human rights activists" always seem to turn a blind eye to the real violations when it doesn't fit their agenda.

Right now there is a civil rights activists on a hunger strike in Cuba. He is protesting the imprisonment and abuse of hundreds of people. This activist, who is nearly dying of hunger, is inspired by Gandhi, Martin Luther King, and Nelson Mandela. Why have we not heard a news story on NPR, CNN, MSNBC, or any of the other big media outlets?

The answer is quite simple; sad, but simple. The activist is a black anti-Communist Cuban. He goes by the name of Jorge Luis García Pérez "Antunez". Humberto Fontova writes about this at CanadaFreePress.com:

Now, if he’d been a black terrorist/socialist protesting segregation 8000 miles from U.S. shores (Nelson Mandela) the MSM(mainstream media) would have been clobbering you over the head with his plight almost daily--as they did during the late 80’s...

Had I spelled out clearly that Cuba’s Stalinist regime ( rather than America’s democratic government) was responsible for the racist tortures provoking the hunger-strike, no major media organ--it goes without saying-- would deign to report the crime, as they’ve ignored Castroite crimes for half a century...

...A Samizdat recent smuggled from Cuba quotes Antunez: “none of the foreign press agencies accredited to work in Cuba have reported this...Now, if there was a march in front of my house in favor of the Castro Regime, you can bet the foreign press would be here in droves!’’

Racism is alive and well in Cuba. One doesn't have to look far into Castro's generals (all white, in a country that is 65% black). A recent Canadian tourist was forcefully pushed away from a hotel's door. The tourist, who was black was apparently mistaken for a black Cuban and told, "Outta here, ni#ger!" This is how they treat their own people. But it lies right in line with the true ideology behind Cuba. Remember the cult-like icon, and Communist Revelutionary poster boy, Che Guevera? His face is on t-shirts worn by millions of mindless college students, celebrities, musicians, and Obama campain workers. Here is how Che feels about race:

“The Negro is indolent and spends his money on frivolities, whereas the European is forward-looking, organized and intelligent… We’re going to do for blacks exactly what blacks did for the Cuban revolution. By which I mean: NOTHING!” - Ernesto “Che” Guevara

So today I pray and honor Antunez, who is dying on a hunger strike in protest of an evil regime who is being coddles by the world media. Antuzez is truley a human rights activist- but he is living in a country where innocent freedom seeking people are willing to risk their own lives for just a possiblity that they may experience true freedom. May God bless you, and give you the strength that you need, and may the world learn of your story; even if there are those who want to bury it.

I am only one blog, with few readers. But if hundreds of blogs with a few readers tell stories like this one, then many people can pass it on.

Here is a video of Lincoln Diaz-Balart shining the light on the heroism of Antunez, past and present:

Pot-heads and hippies dissed by Obama

Will they burn their tie-died shirts?

Pot-heads, or the p.c. title- hemp users(?), are feeling used, exploited, even confused after the comments made by Barack Obama this week. At his online town hall meeting where "YouTubers" could ask questions, the question every wannabe hippy, Deadhead, and college burnout has been waiting for- whether legalizing marijuana would help pull America out of the recession.

The president jokingly said: "I don't know what this says about the online audience."

In a serious response, he said he didn't think that was a good economic policy.(WASHINGTON (AP))

Now I can't say that I disagree with Obama's answer here. In fact, I'm a bit suprised by his anwer here because if there was ever a time when someone could argue good reasoning for legalizing marijuana, this could be the time.

From my own personal experience (and I do mean personal- cough, cough), I believe that in the end, legalizing pot would not be positive for our society. We have enough lazy video game playing, MySpacing, YouTubing citizens already, we don't need a drug to help them along. But that's another argument for another blog.

I am suprised that the Obama Administration has not used the economy as a vehicle for legalization of pot. Go to any leftwing protest, festival, event, ect, and you will see that pot legalization is at the top of their list. They usually use the term, "de-criminalization".

Put the negative effects of pot aside, and you have a major cash crop that can be grown anywhere- literally.
They could argue that many new jobs and business would be created by legalizing pot (pot cafes, restraunts...bakeries, bars). And oh, how they could tax this crop- and the hippies would line up proudly to pay their tax!

But here is the real story- how are all the kool-aid drinking Obama-bots going to react to his sarcastic reaction, "I don't know what this says about the online audience". He thinks you all are a bunch of flakey dope heads! All those pot-fueled concerts featuring potsmokers everywhere. The Grateful Dead actually had a reunion to raise money for Obama's campaign for crying out loud! Millions upon millions of dollars were raised for Barack Obama by pro-pot smoking voters and groups who hoped he would legalize marijuana. And with a sarcastic laugh and answer- he gives the potheads their answer.

Hippies have a knack for getting sucked into cults and groups lead by power hungry guys who have a "messiah complex". Potheads everywhere- do you feel used?

Do you think we're all stupid, President Obama?

Stupid:
1. Slow to learn or understand; obtuse.
2. Tending to make poor decisions or careless mistakes.
3. Marked by a lack of intelligence or care; foolish or careless: a stupid mistake.
4. Dazed, stunned, or stupefied.
(The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition copyright ©2000)
Apparently there are a lot of gullible, ignorant, and stupid people in America. The election results back in November reflected mostly ignorance and gullibility. But anyone else left on the "Obama Bus" that is driving off the cliff called reason is simply stupid. I wish I could find another word that was more poetic, maybe even more "friendly", but sometimes tough times needs tough love.

I chose the definitions above because they are simple and to the point. I apologize for those who do not apply to this definition, but stay with me on this, maybe you can point someone you know, maybe even someone you love to this blog. To borrow a line from the our President, there is hope (Its sad that I can't use the word hope without being reminded of "Obama/Biden" campaign bumper stickers).

Does Obama believe that the all Americans are slow to learn, or lack intelligence, or even are dazed because of his presence? People are camping out to be in his presence!? Its actually easier to get tickets to the latest Dead shows then it is to an Obama town-hall meeting these days (is there a connection there?). As he sat next to Jay Leno, a comedian with a late night entertainment talk show, did Barack Obama believe that everyone in America was watching and thinking, "Now I am relieved. Seeing Barack laughing in Hollywood reminds us how much he really cares about us and how he will fix my life. And he and his teleprompter are going to go get those evil AIG demons!". Yeah.

The sad thing is, there were tears- oh yes, there were tears. Butterflies of delight, teenage-like gawking, and many thrills running up many legs (of all shapes and sizes)- they were there. Then there are those, many in the mainstream media, who still get gas pains from their excitement when they are in the same zip-code as Barack Obama.

Are these people stupid? Some of them may be intelligent when it comes to their ability to recite facts and figures among their collegiate social circles. But being stupid doesn't always have anything to do with education levels. Let's examine the above definitions of the word stupid, and see how they compare to what is happening to so many people in the United States.

1. Slow to learn or understand- with all the hard evidence, video footage of speeches, published essays, etc, of Obama sounding like the poster boy modern Marxism, it is a wonder how people can't see what is happening before our very eyes. Some are coming to their senses, but others are still basking in the pool of "Obama's Kool-Aid". Even with the writing on the wall, and in the 1,000 plus porkulus bill, they still don't get it; slow to understand indeed.

2. Tending to make poor decisions or careless mistakes- many people who voted for Obama in the first place were individuals who had a long history of making poor decision and careless mistakes. "I know I don't make more then $25,000 a year, but I deserve to own a $500,000 house...that's what Barney Frank said...". No more needs to be said here.

3. Marked by a lack of intelligence or care; foolish or careless- now don't confuse this item line with educational background. Some of the smartest people didn't attend college. In fact, having a college degree, or fancy masters degree doesn't give you a "get out of jail" card when it comes to being foolish or careless- congress has proven this point. But so many people who are still taking up sides with Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Frank, etc, are foolish. Voters who continue to follow leaders who would support and sign a bill like the recent "stimulus" bill (and budget), are as foolish and careless as the ones who created it.

4. Dazed, stunned, or stupefied- looking at Obama fans who camp out for his town hall meetings, I see people who look like zombies following zombies. These dazed voters the become stunned when they realize that Obama's plan isn't working, nor helps them. These people then become stupefied when they discover that they were used and exploited by Obama and the Democratic Party to gain endless power at their expense.

Do you find yourself fitting into one of these defintions? Do you know someone that fits into this category? There are those who are humble; people that puts a stake in the heart of the vampire named denial after realizing their vote had been exploited by the powers that be. These people have a chance. But sadly, there are those who will be bitten by the vampire, the Democrats, and be a slave to their programs, and will always work for the government, rather the expecting the government to work for them.

Break the cycle of stupidity people- like Obama's telemprompter said, "Yes We Can...Come to our senses!"

AIG like a Suicide Bomber says Obama!

Barack Obama compared A.I.G. to a suicide bomber.
“The same is true with AIG,” he said. “It was the right thing to do to step in. Here’s the problem. It’s almost like they’ve got — they’ve got a bomb strapped to them and they’ve got their hand on the trigger. You don’t want them to blow up. But you’ve got to kind of talk them, ease that finger off the trigger.”

Imagine if he and his hack of an administration showed this kind of concern and anger at actual suicide bombers and terrorists- but that would mean they actually were thinking with reason.

These hacks that call themselves government servents (i use this term lightly) have displayed more passionate anger at A.I.G. for these bonuses then our actual enemies who would like to see the destruction of our country. And the irony is, it is those who demonize who created the problem in the first place!

"Little Red Book" 2009

The Little Red Book; no, it's not a book used by men to keep their girlfriend's phone numbers. Nor is it a children's book, though millions of children have been encouraged, no, forced to read it.

Chinese dictator Mao Zedong put together a book of quotations and thoughts of his that was "informally" required to be own, read, carried with them at all times. In fact, it was purposely made "little" so that every Chinese man, woman, and child could carry it with them. Posters of Mau, as well as imagery of the Chinese people holding the "little book" were plastered everywhere the eye could see. Kind of like those darn Obama posters and new Pepsi logos.

Here are some quotations from "The Little Red Book, see any similarities to what we are being told today by the Obama Administration, liberals, and most of the mainstream media outlets:

In all the practical work of our Party, all correct leadership is necessarily "from the masses, to the masses". This means: take the ideas of the masses (scattered and unsystematic ideas) and concentrate them (through study turn them into concentrated and systematic ideas), then go to the masses and propagate and explain these ideas until the masses embrace them as their own, hold fast to them and translate them into action, and test the correctness of these ideas in such action...And so on, over and over again in an endless spiral, with the ideas becoming more correct, more vital and richer each time. Such is the Marxist theory of knowledge.

• We should go to the masses and learn from them, synthesize their experience into better, articulated principles and methods, then do propaganda among the masses, and call upon them to put these principles and methods into practice so as to solve their problems and help them achieve liberation and happiness.

• Party criticism should be carried out within the Party

• It is up to us to organize the people. As for the reactionaries (those who disagree) in China, it is up to us to organize the people to overthrow them. (Kind of like when Barack Obama said, "“I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors... I want you to argue with them and get in their face".
VIDEO

• the recognition of class and class struggle, are necessary for peasants and the Chinese people to overcome both domestic and foreign enemy elements. This is not a simple, clean, or quick struggle.

• It is also important to unite with the middle peasants, and educate them on the failings of capitalism.

• U.S. imperialism, and European and domestic reactionary forces, represent real dangers, and in this respect are like real tigers.

• Party members should take their cue from the masses, and reinterpret policy with respect to the benefit of the masses.

• the Chinese Youth represent an active, vital force in China, to be drawn upon. At the same time, it is necessary to educate them, and for the Youth League to give special attention to their problems and interests.

• To distinguish real friends from real enemies, we must make a general analysis of the economic status of the various classes in Chinese society and of their respective attitudes towards the revolution (Communism). (sound familiar? Class warfare, get the poor angry at the rich, demonize those with more)

• We should support whatever the enemy opposes and oppose whatever the enemy supports. (the hypocricy of the left- they cast judgement at those who disagree with them, but their agruments are shallow- "we oppose you because...just because."

• If the U.S. monopoly capitalist groups persist in pushing their policies of aggression and war, the day is bound to come when they will be hanged by the people of the whole world. The same fate awaits the accomplices of the United States.(This sounds like Barack Obama, or his pastor Rev. Jeremiah "G-Damn America" Wright, and many Democrats in the U.S.!)

• The masses are the real heroes, while we ourselves are often childish and ignorant, and without this understanding it is impossible to acquire even the most rudimentary knowledge. (This is how Obama, Pelosi, and Reid treat the voters- like they are a bunch of children who cannot make decisions for themselves)

• To link oneself with the masses, one must act in accordance with the needs and wishes of the masses. All work done for the masses must start from their (the masses) needs and not from the desire of any individual, however well-intentioned. (This could have come right out of an Obama campaign speech, "Yes We Can")

• Our congress should teach every comrade to love the people and listen attentively to the voice of the masses; to identify himself with the masses wherever he goes and, instead of standing above them, to immerse himself among them; and, according to their present level (In other words, its better to lower the bar of success for oneself to join the crowd rather then seek to better oneself- sounds familiar doesn't it?)

Wikipedia CENSORS facts about Obama!

Wikipedia prides itself on being an online encyclopedia "written collaboratively by volunteersaround the world". The only problem is, if the info a user is adding to the "encyclopedia" doesn't jive with left-wing politics, or Barack Obama, that entry will be deleted, and the user could be banned from making entries. It's happening, a lot.

WorldNetDaily has monitored the Wikipedia site in recent months and took note of information relating to Barack Obama's past was being srubbed by Wikipedia administrators, usually within minutes. Wikipedia has a policy that information being added has to be backed up by third-party media. Entries related to Obama's past work relations with Bill Ayers and his work with Rev. Wright were scrubbed as well, even though these stories were documented across the media.

While Obama has little to no critical or controversial entries, George W. Bush as well as many critical entries, many not even relevant to his bio as a president (past alcohol abuse?!). This is a common thread throughout Wikipedia.

For a site that brags about their collaborative sharing of information, the administrators seem to see the world through rose colored glasses.

51% of Democrats didn't want Bush to succeed

Newsbusters takes us back to a poll asking people if they wanted George W. Bush to succeed in 2006. Not surprisingly 51% of Democrats said "no", they didn't want Bush to succeed.
Here are the numbers...

What's up with that darn teleprompter?

I thought it was just me. I'm talking about President Obama's teleprompter. It started with the big speeches- ok, that's understandable. But then they started popping up at announcements, press conferences, and rumor has it- he is using them at the dinner table now...ok, maybe not the dinner table.

But they are becoming a bit awkward for everyone who is in the room with them. If you are standing in a room with 40 or 50 people of the press, they give a really cold and distant effect to the speech, unlike his stadium speeches. Photographers are being challenged too, competing with the flat screens that are standing up in front of the President. "Is he talking to us or those two pieces of glass?".

The Politico has a great piece on the "teleprompter crutch" that our new leader seems to have...

Obama falling in line with CPUSA platform

Before the recent Presidential Election there were many who warned that Barack Obama would bring the U.S. closer to socialism based on his background- drenched in Marxist ideologies. These people were cast off as being conspiracy theorists.

Randall Hoven writes an eye opening article at the American Thinker blog about how the Obama Administration is following the will of the Communist Party- the CPUSA to be exact. Here we are, not even two full months into Obama's presidency and his policies are falling right in line with the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). Out of 44 items from the CPUSA platform list, 22 are now enacted, 21 are in the works. So 43 out of 44 of the CPUSA's platform items are either in place or being worked on- makes you feel good about the future of our country doesn't it?

"Let me tell you who we conservatives are..."

Rush Limbaugh sets things right at CPAC 2009...

"Let me tell you who we conservatives are: We love people. [Applause] When we look out over the United States of America, when we are anywhere, when we see a group of people, such as this or anywhere, we see Americans. We see human beings. We don't see groups. We don't see victims. We don't see people we want to exploit. What we see -- what we see is potential. We do not look out across the country and see the average American, the person that makes this country work. We do not see that person with contempt. We don't think that person doesn't have what it takes. We believe that person can be the best he or she wants to be if certain things are just removed from their path like onerous taxes, regulations and too much government."
-Rush Limbaugh
