Iran says Obama's America "Passive", a "failure"

During the last 8 years since the September 11th attacks on or country, George W. Bush made a promise to the American people. Mr. Bush pledged that he would make our safety his number one priority- and that was a success. Not only was it a success, but he took a hard lined stance on terrorism which allowed our soldiers, FBI, CIA, and security forces to catch the bad guys.

George W. Bush didn't refer to Iran, lead by Ahmadinejad, as the "axis of evil" for nothing. Aside from arming our terrorists and our enemies with money and weapons, Ahmadinejad denies the Holocaust, and has called for Israel to be wiped off the map. Ahmadinejad is not only a threat to the world at large, but to his own people. Public hangings for homosexuals, Christians, or anyone who doesn't cheer the dictator on. And Ahmadinejad calls the U.S. "the Great Satan"?

There is a good reason why Bush refused to have open talks with Ahmadinejad. Bush knew that Iran would used our willingness to hold our hand out them against us. John McCain knew this too; McCain campaigned on this idea that you can't talk to someone who denies atrocities like the Holocaust, and the death of Israel. The warning from Bush, McCain, and other conservatives and many moderates like Joe Lieberman have come true.

(from Breitbart.com)US President Barack Obama's offer to talk to Iran shows that America's policy of "domination" has failed, the government spokesman said on Saturday.

"This request means Western ideology has become passive, that capitalist thought and the system of domination have failed," Gholam Hossein Elham was quoted as saying by the Mehr news agency.

"Negotiation is secondary, the main issue is that there is no way but for (the United States) to change," he added.

Is this the "change" that Obama promised to his voters? We can see the true intentions of Iran. They have no desire to change, but expect the U.S. to change. Does Iran expect the U.S. to accept Iran's denial of the Holocaust, their extermination of Christians, Jews, homosexuals, and anyone else who they don't agree with? Do they expect us to accept their treatment of woman?

I hate to say this, because Obama's enemy is still our enemy, but- Obama, we told you so.

Remember what Gov. Sarah Palin said? Referring to Obama's openess to talk with Iran without preconditions...
"Barack Obama is so off base in his proclamation that he would meet with some of these leaders around our world who would seek to destroy America and that, and without preconditions being met," she said."That's beyond naive. And it's beyond bad judgment." (Source)
